An iPhone 7 Mistakenly Dropped Explodes in China

Samsung Note 7 doesn’t look like the only smartphone that has problems with explosion in 2016, as an iPhone 7 too reportedly exploded when it was dropped accidentally.
This reportedly happened in the Yunnan province, Southwest China when the user mistakenly let go of the phone and it hits the ground.

This has been going around the Chinese media and according to a report on this Chinese website, the phone started letting out smoke and vibrating vigorously after the drop. After that, the battery exploded, leaving a burnt device with the screen almost separating from the chassis.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 7 seems to be on top of the table of explosive mobile devices this year, there seems to be something basically wrong with the iPhone 7 also. This isn’t the first time an explosion of a smartphone is being reported for the past few months.

Also, an iPhone 7 has been reported that it heated up and exploded while being charged in a car.
Another one suddenly exploded while still in its package. Apple is yet to make a statement about this.

This explosions appear to be the result of OEMs trying to make the devices slimmer making the battery as thin as possible; terrible battery engineering seems to be behind all these explosions.

Some may have been thinking maybe Samsung erred another company or a powerful individual. What about the iPhone 7 explosion? Who would have Apple made angry too?
